Lee County Republicans celebrated the grand opening of their headquarters at 401 Main Street after the Keokuk Labor Day parade today. Candidates participating in the parade were Christopher Peters, 2nd District congressional candidate, Jeff Reichman, Iowa District 83 representative candidate, and James Steffen, Lee County District 3 supervisor candidate.

District 83 Candidate State Representive Forum

The Fort Madison Partners Affiliates will be hosting a Legislative Candidate Forum for House of Representatives District 83 on Thursday, April 26^th 6-7:30 located at the Old Fort Players (725 Avenue G). The Partners will have a few prepared questions but will give the public the opportunity to provide questions to the moderator for the candidates. Doors will open at 5:30, at this time the public will have a chance to write their questions down and present to the moderator prior to 6:00 pm. The moderator will review all questions to reduce duplication prior to presenting to the candidates. We will keep the forum to an hour and a half to respect everyone’s time. Candidates: Jeffery D.
